Public List Not Working After LM Upgrade

Overview

You may have a list that is open to the public. This means that it is expected that members and non-members have the ability to join this list.  Sometimes when you upgrade Lyris LM, there is a problem where users are unable to subscribe to your public lists - the system cycles but never goes to any other page.


Solution

If you are using web forms embedded in a web page to subscribe/unsubscribe to a ListManager public list and it stops working after an upgrade, you can solve this by:

  • Confirming and fixing the ListManager server IP address in the subscribe/unsubscribe forms.
  • Making sure that this IP address is open to the public. (Your network team can check this for you.)
