Overview

The message "The parameters to connect to the Database are wrong or invalid. Please check!" may be presented during the upgrade of a ListManager v12 server that uses an Oracle 11 database.

Solution

The connection error is known to happen when performing an upgrade using Oracle client 12 to connect to an 11 DB.

When upgrading a Lyris LM v12 installation on Oracle 11, make sure that the Oracle client software is also version 11, and 32-bit.
