Overview
You send a test mailing but nothing happens and the test mailing is not received. When you check the status in ListManager under Mailing Status > Mail Queues > Outgoing, click on the test message, and check the recipients tab, it shows as 'Not attempted' and you would like to get the test mailing sent.
Solution
By default, messages are queued in the order they are sent. However, there is a setting that applies to test messages that effectively adds them to the top of the queue i.e. they will be sent right away.
- Navigate to Utilities > Administration > Server > Server Dashboard
- Test Priority Live: Place a check in the checkbox to prioritize test messages, so they don't queue while ListManager is sending other messages
Note: This setting only applies to test messages. There is no way to prioritize normal messages other than pausing ones that are currently sending.
