Overview
ListManager cannot send from an IP address that is not assigned to the computer it is running on. If the IP addresses defined for a mailstream are incorrect, mailings may fail with a "Not Attempted" error. That can happen after ListManager is moved to a new computer or if the server IP changed, and ListManager is configured to use a static IP.
Solution
The IP addresses are set in the MailStream configuration:
- Navigate to "Utilities : Administration : MailStream : MailStream Administration".
- Click on the name of the mailstream to open the "Edit MailStream" screen.
- Move the correct IP address from the "Available IPs" to the "Chosen IPs".
- Move any invalid IP addresses from the "Chosen IPs" to the "Available IPs" box.
- Click on the "Save" button.
Testing
Resending the affected mailing should not result in a Not Attempted error.
