Overview

You would like to secure your LM site with a wildcard SSL certificate and want to know if this is possible.

Solution

LM supports the use of wildcard SSL certificates. Full instructions for creating and installing certificates for ListManager are found in the Install or Update SSL Certificates in Lyris LM article.

In Step 3, after executing the openssl command to generate your CSR you are prompted to enter a passphrase and other information about your organization, including the domain. To obtain a wildcard certificate use *.domain.com where domain is your domain name when prompted to enter your domain.

All other steps in the linked article remain the same for installing the certificate.
