Locked Out of LM After Changing TCP/IP for Server or Site Admins

Overview

After changing settings in LM's Security Settings for TCP/IP for Site and/or Server Admins, you cannot connect and need to gain access.


Prerequisites

  • You are running LM version 12.4.1

Solution

  1. Open a command prompt and run the following command from your LM server:
    lm reset_tcpip_server_admin

After executing this command, TCP/IP restrictions are removed and you are able to connect.
