Overview
You are installing the latest version of Lyris LM to a new test server for development purposes to replace an existing dev server and you are stuck at the point of the installation where ListManager asks for a serial number or installation key and you would like to get one to finish the installation.
Solution
If you are replacing your existing dev server with a new dev server you can use the serial number from your existing server. There are two ways to retrieve the serial number, depending on whether your dev server's LitsManager installation is still accessible or not.
The Existing Dev Server is Accessible
- Log on to your existing ListManager dev server as an Administrator
- Navigate to Utilities > Administration > Server > Server Settings > Machine Settings, Basics tab
- Copy the Serial Number from this page to use on your new Dev installation
The Existing Dev Server is Not Accessible
- Query the
lyrConfigNodeSettings
table, Serial column
