Overview
After an upgrade, you may not be able to start the ListManager server and webserver. The error displayed when starting the LM Server is:
Windows could not start the ListManager service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
The error displayed while accessing the LM web server is:
"Server Unavailable"
Solution
Typically when this issue happens after an upgrade, it can be resolved by manually upgrading the database. Refer to the following article for instructions to manually upgrade the database:
Testing
After upgrading the database, the LM server and web server start without errors.
